Greetings! My name is Michael. I’m happy to say that I’ve found a niche that I love in eLearning Design. I relish in dissecting the learning process and putting it back together so that it can work better for the learner.

 

I spent my first years as a curriculum designer, working as an after-school and summer program performing arts instructor for both middle school and high school students. That camp taught me what it was to play. The students brought such imagination and uninhibited joy to their creation, that it was infectious! Seeing these students grow through something that I had created made me so proud. I carried this pride with me when I decided to officially begin my carrier in curriculum design and development.

 

As a corporate Learning Experience Designer, I have used my experience with younger learners to inspire new ways to motivate adults to take initiative with their own learning. By creating connections with learning and everyday experiences, adults can find the value in themselves through my curriculum.
